This standard was evaluated in regard to an investigation and a violation was found. There is sufficient evidence to show that a caregiver uses her cell phone for personal use while supervising children.

Based on information gathered during the investigation, it was determined that cleaning products were not properly secured and were accessible to the children. As a result, one of the children was able to get hold of a cleaning product, which led to an incident where the child injured their eye.

The operation's Infant class had five children in care with one caregiver. Based on the ages of the children in care the caregiver can only care for four children.
